The kingdom of Mahishmati is set to rise once again — bigger, bolder, and more breathtaking than ever. #BaahubaliTheEpic, a re-edited and remastered IMAX version of S. S. Rajamouli’s iconic two-part saga, will arrive in theaters worldwide on October 31, 2025.
Presented as a single, unified narrative that seamlessly weaves together Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), this special edition promises to transport audiences back to the grandeur and drama that redefined Indian cinema.
Directed and co-edited by S. S. Rajamouli, Baahubali: The Epic features technical enhancements, previously unseen footage, and a new runtime of 3 hours and 44 minutes — an immersive cinematic odyssey designed for IMAX screens.
“This is not just a re-release — it’s a re-experience,” says a statement from the producers, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, whose Arka Media Works banner backed both original films.
The reimagined cut stars Prabhas in a triple role as Sivudu, Mahendra Baahubali, and Amarendra Baahubali, alongside Rana Daggubati as the formidable Bhallaladeva, Anushka Shetty as Devasena, and Tamannaah Bhatia as Avanthika. Rounding out the ensemble are Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Subbaraju, and others — the very faces that became synonymous with cinematic royalty.
Originally released in two parts, Baahubali became a global phenomenon, blending myth, emotion, and spectacle on an unprecedented scale. With Baahubali: The Epic, Rajamouli and his team aim to deliver the definitive version of the story — a seamless, emotionally resonant journey through the rise, fall, and legacy of the warrior-king Baahubali.
As the legendary tagline reminds us — “Whatever you imagine, Baahubali will be more.” Prepare to witness the legend like never before when Baahubali: The Epic conquers IMAX screens this October 31, 2025.
