Mumbai glittered brighter than ever as yesteryears’ Bollywood legends Asha Parekh and Waheeda Rehman graced the much-anticipated screening of Farhan Akhtar’s war epic 120 Bahadur. Adding to the vintage charm, the evergreen Rekha also attended, turning the event into a rare reunion of cinematic royalty. Their presence evoked a warm nostalgia, reminding everyone why these women are etched in the industry’s golden history.
The film, based on the Battle of Rezang La during the India–China war, stars Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, the heroic Param Vir Chakra awardee who led the 13 Kumaon Regiment in one of India’s most valiant wartime stands. The screening became a celebration not only of cinema but of the bravery and sacrifice woven into the film’s narrative.
Asha Parekh looked poised and graceful in a pristine white sari, Waheeda Rehman glowed in lavender, and Rekha captivated as always in her traditional white ensemble. The red carpet sparkled further as modern-day stars made their entries—Ranveer Singh, stylish as ever, was spotted greeting Farhan with a warm hug; Tiger Shroff rocked an all-black look; and Hrithik Roshan kept it cool in a white shirt and denim. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also attended the event with wife Anjali, adding a touch of sports royalty to the evening.
The guest list read like a who’s who of Bollywood: Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Anupam Kher, Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Kajol, Zoya Akhtar, Divya Dutta, Rahul Bose, Dino Morea, Manish Malhotra, and many more walked the carpet, turning the event into a grand celebration of cinema and camaraderie. Farhan Akhtar, along with the film’s ensemble cast including Raashii Khanna, Sparsh Walia, Vivan Bhatena, and Dhanveer Singh, posed proudly for the cameras.
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), 120 Bahadur is set to hit theatres on November 21, promising an emotionally charged tribute to unsung heroes.
