Bigg Boss 19 continues to serve its share of drama and emotional farewells, and this week’s eviction of Baseer Ali left fans buzzing. Known for his charming personality and level-headed game, the actor’s connection with fellow contestant Nehal Chudasama had been one of the most talked-about relationships inside the house. Now, outside the Bigg Boss bubble, Baseer is setting the record straight — and it’s all about friendship, not love.

In an exclusive post-eviction interaction, Baseer broke down how the much-
speculated bond with Nehal began. “If you go back to where it started with Nehal, she said some stuff of Farhana. And because of that, Farhana took me aside and said I think Nehal has feelings for you, and because of that me and Nehal started to sit together, and we were heading toward some clarity — when did the whole thing transition from friendship to something else, and what do we do now. Because my issues with her weren’t over, there were a lot of arrears in our friendship which needed to be cleared out, and perhaps then we could have planned about what this could turn into, but before that I got evicted.”

When asked directly about his alleged romantic involvement, Baseer was quick to clarify, “I am not in love with Nehal, I never said it. I have said she is my friend, which she is. I have cleared that too on the show many times.” His statement puts to rest the ongoing social media chatter about whether the two were forming a love angle or simply sharing a genuine friendship in the high-pressure environment of the Bigg Boss house.

The Kundali Bhagya actor also opened up about his strained dynamics with another contestant, Abhishek Bajaj. “I tried a lot to establish a good connection with Abhishek Bajaj, but he always saw me as a competitor,” Baseer admitted, hinting at an underlying rivalry that may have impacted his game.

For now, Baseer Ali leaves the Bigg Boss house with a mix of reflection and resolve — friendships questioned, rivalries revealed, and lessons learned. As he steps back into the real world, fans are already hoping to see him return to television soon, perhaps with fewer house tasks and more screen time that doesn’t involve survival strategies.
