South superstar Prabhas celebrated his 46th birthday on Thursday, and fans across the world were treated to a unique surprise from none other than Spirit director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Instead of a traditional teaser, Vanga unveiled a “sound story” — a powerful audio-only glimpse into the world of Spirit, presented in five Indian languages.

The one-minute teaser opens with an intense exchange between a jailer and his assistant discussing an ex-cop in custody. Their conversation quickly sets the tone — dark, raw, and charged with tension. Moments later, Prabhas’ commanding voice cuts through:
“Sir, since childhood, I have one bad habit.” When the jailer yells back, Prabhas repeats, “Right from childhood, I have one bad habit.”The sound fades, and the title Spirit echoes — leaving fans hooked on those three mysterious words: One Bad Habit.
The announcement instantly lit up social media. Admirers flooded social media with praise, calling it “a goosebump-inducing concept” and “the most creative teaser of the year.” Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga — the man behind Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal — Spirit promises to push cinematic boundaries once again. Prabhas will reportedly play an intense, layered cop caught between duty and desire, while actress Triptii Dimri joins him as the female lead, replacing Deepika Padukone. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi, and veteran actress Kanchana in key roles.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series in collaboration with Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit is expected to go on floors soon and is eyeing a 2026 release. The project marks Vanga’s first collaboration with Prabhas and is already being touted as one of India’s biggest cinematic ventures.
