The anticipation around Haq just intensified. The makers of the upcoming courtroom drama have unveiled striking character posters of Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi, offering a powerful glimpse into a film that promises to explore truth, courage, and conscience like never before.

Presented by Junglee Pictures, Haq is directed by Suparn S Varma and written by Reshu Nath. The film, inspired by a landmark Supreme Court judgment, is set to release in cinemas on 7th November 2025. In the newly released character posters, Yami and Emraan appear on opposite sides of the same moral battlefield. The tagline — “Two sides. One fight.” — perfectly encapsulates the film’s core conflict: a pursuit of justice where every truth comes with a cost. Sharing the motion poster on Instagram, Yami Gautam Dhar wrote,“She stood up when silence was easier. He fought when truth was inconvenient.⚖️ #Haq in cinemas 7th November.”

Helmed by Suparn S Varma, known for his compelling narratives in The Family Man and Rana Naidu, Haq delves into the human side of law  where justice is not just about winning or losing, but about what one is willing to risk for the truth. The screenplay by Reshu Nath is said to draw from real-life events surrounding a landmark Supreme Court case, giving the film an authentic emotional core while maintaining cinematic intensity.Alongside Yami and Emraan, Haq features an impressive supporting cast including Sheeba Chadha, Danish Hussain, and Aseem Hattangady — all known for bringing emotional depth and realism to their performances.

The film is produced by Vineet Jain under the Junglee Pictures banner, in association with Vishal Gurnani, Juhi Parekh Mehta, and Harman Baweja. Co-producers Amrita Pandey, Suparn S Varma, Rowena Baweja, and Sandeep Singh add to a strong creative lineup known for backing meaningful and character-driven cinema.

Yami Gautam Dhar continues her remarkable streak of portraying strong, determined women in socially resonant films like Article 370 and A Thursday. In Haq, she appears poised to bring both grit and grace to a role that challenges silence in the face of injustice.Emraan Hashmi, on the other hand, takes on a role layered with intensity and restraint. Known for his evolution as a performer in recent years, Emraan’s portrayal in Haq seems to balance conviction with conflict — a man who fights for truth even when it threatens his world.

Haq is more than a courtroom drama; it’s an emotional exploration of morality, identity, and the price of doing what’s right. With its tagline “Two sides. One fight,” the film aims to question not just the system, but the individuals within it who dare to challenge it.As the character posters spark intrigue, the trailer is expected to drop soon setting the stage for one of 2025’s most powerful cinematic confrontations.

Mark your calendars. Haq arrives in cinemas on November 7, 2025.
