Lionsgate has dropped the highly anticipated first official trailer for From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, a thrilling action drama that expands the beloved John Wick universe. Starring Ana de Armas in the lead role, the film promises to deliver high-octane action and deep emotional stakes.
In Ballerina, De Armas portrays Eve Macarro, a young female assassin driven by revenge against those who murdered her family. Set against the backdrop of the intricate assassin world established in the John Wick series, the film takes place around the same time as John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Eve begins her training in the deadly traditions of the Ruska Roma, setting the stage for a compelling tale of vengeance and self-discovery.
