Karan Johar is stepping into new hosting duties as the face of the Indian adaptation of the globally popular reality show, The Traitors. The acclaimed filmmaker recently teased fans with an intriguing motion video on his Instagram, captioning it, "It's so treacherous, you'll sleep with one eye open! #TheTraitorsOnPrime, now filming for @primevideoin."
Filming for the show has already commenced, promising a thrilling experience for viewers. The competition will feature 20 players who arrive at a lavish royal palace, vying for a substantial cash prize that accumulates through various physical and psychological challenges. As they navigate the game, participants must identify the "traitors" among them before they face elimination.
The Traitors was created by Marc Pos and developed in collaboration with IDTV Creative Director Jasper Hoogendoorn. Since its debut in the Netherlands on RTL 4 in 2021, the show has garnered international acclaim, inspiring over 25 adaptations and multiple returning seasons across different countries.
