The boutique studio behind “Unmatched” and “Rat in the Kitchen” announces genre-spanning micro fiction series featuring known faces and cinematic storytelling.
Vertical micro fiction is fast becoming the future of digital storytelling, and Orange Elephant Studios is taking the lead with a bold investment and elaborate infrastructure for its 2025 vertical web series line-up. The award-winning boutique production house, known for critically acclaimed titles like Rat in the Kitchen (JioCinema) and Unmatched (Instagram), is developing a sizzling slate of genre-diverse micro fiction series.
With the disruptive success of their show 'unmatched' they already have the first mover advantage, establishing them as the pioneers behind India's First Vertical Micro Fiction Web Series. Now, they are developing seven more shows in the same format - a format they've mastered and defined.
The comment sections of each of the episodes of 'Unmatched' has audiences clamouring for more episodes and more stories from the makers.
The shows are to be developed in creative collaboration with Creators, Actors and Technicians alike - to ensure the storytelling finesse that their first show sets standards for.
While romance is cheaper to shoot and easier to pull off, Afroz Khan, co-founder & CEO launched their micro fiction wing with a hard-hitting thriller, not abiding by the standards of fewer locations, fewer characters, etc. but going all out and creating cinema and serving narrative.
"We want to tell stories that are compelling and not just serve an industry trend' said Afroz. 'It's a quality game till American and Chinese Apps come down to India and open commissioning and syndication'.
Each series in their 2025 slate will feature a known face, combining compelling performances with sharp, hook-driven writing tailored for mobile-first audiences.
Orange Elephant Studios is set to redefine the vertical web space—one gripping episode at a time.
