On September 3, the Saathiya and Company star embraced peace over pomp, spending his special day in Bhutan with wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi — trading birthday cake for mountain trails and confetti for quiet reflection.
Marking a personal shift, Vivek opted for a spiritual escape in the serene landscapes of Bhutan, far removed from the chaos of city life and celebrity culture. The couple visited the breathtaking Paro Taktsang, popularly known as Tiger’s Nest Monastery — a sacred site nestled high on a cliff, accessible only by a strenuous hike.
Sharing glimpses from the journey on Instagram, Vivek reflected on the experience with heartfelt words: “Away from the world, closer to myself. This year, I stepped away from the usual birthday revelry to embark on a spiritual journey, offering my deepest gratitude to the universe for the abundance I’ve been blessed with.”
The hike, though physically demanding, left the actor spiritually renewed. Posing with Priyanka against the stunning Himalayan backdrop, Vivek looked calm, centered, and deeply content.
“At Tiger’s Nest, after a long hike, renewed, refreshed, and ready for all that lies ahead,” he wrote, describing the transformative power of the moment.
