Rakul Preet Singh was recently spotted at Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha ahead of her upcoming film De De Pyaar De 2, scheduled to release on 14 November 2025. Dressed in a vibrant yellow anarkali suit, Rakul greeted fans and photographers warmly, posed for pictures, and distributed Prasad to devotees, marking a serene and joyful temple visit.
De De Pyaar De 2 is a Hindi-language romantic comedy, directed by Anshul Sharma, written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, and produced by T-Series Films and Luv Films. The movie serves as a sequel to the 2019 hit De De Pyaar De and reunites audiences with stars Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Rakul Preet Singh in a new story filled with comedy, romance, and family drama.
The sequel follows Ashish Mehra (Ajay Devgn), a 52-year-old London-based NRI investor, as he meets the family of his much younger girlfriend Ayesha Khurana (Rakul Preet Singh). Ashish discovers that Ayesha’s father, Rajji (R. Madhavan), is younger than him, setting the stage for hilarious one-upmanship and awkward, laugh-out-loud situations between the two men. Ayesha urges Ashish to win over her family like a young suitor, leading to comedic chaos when age gaps, perceptions, and family dynamics collide.
Adding to the drama, Meezaan Jafri enters the picture as a rival eager to break Ashish and Ayesha apart, intensifying the film’s humorous and heartwarming conflicts. The storyline promises the perfect blend of romance, comedy, and family entertainment, capturing the charm of the original while offering fresh twists for the sequel.
With Rakul Preet seeking divine blessings and the film poised for a mid-November release, fans are eagerly counting down to experience another entertaining ride in the world of De De Pyaar De.
