The sixth edition of Cosmoprof India opens today at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, reaffirming its position as the leading B2B platform for the Indian beauty industry and a strategic gateway for international brands seeking entry into one of the world’s fastest-growing markets. Organized by Cosmoprof India Ltd., a joint venture between BolognaFiere Cosmoprof and Informa Markets India, the 2025 edition marks a new milestone in the show’s evolution. Since its debut in 2019, the event has nearly doubled in size, now spanning 24,000 square meters—an 8% increase over 2024—with 353 exhibitors and 800 brands from 23 countries and regions, 32% of whom are participating for the first time.
Reflecting the full spectrum of the beauty supply chain, Cosmopack India represents 59% of the exhibition with cutting-edge innovations in ingredients, raw materials, machinery, equipment, packaging, contract manufacturing and private label. Cosmoprof India, accounting for the remaining 41%, showcases leading finished-product brands across perfumery, cosmetics, toiletries, salon, spa, hair and nail categories for both retail and professional channels. More than 14,000 visitors are expected to attend. Nine international Country Pavilions—Australia, Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan Region and the United Kingdom—underscore the show’s global profile, with Italy honored as the Country of Honor for 2025 through a dedicated pavilion curated by the Italian Trade Agency and Cosmetica Italia.
Industry leaders emphasize India’s accelerating influence in the global beauty landscape. “The continuous and impressive growth of Cosmoprof India confirms the strategic relevance of the Indian beauty market on the global stage,” said Enrico Zannini, General Manager, BolognaFiere Cosmoprof. Global fragrance and grooming players further amplify the momentum. PARFUMS PLUS France spotlights evolving consumer preferences toward wellness-inspired scents, while Sharaya Cosmocare highlights the rise of niche and luxury fragrances among Gen Z and millennials, enabled by e-commerce and quick commerce. Grooming leader Mundhra Polycom notes a robust shift toward premium, design-forward tools as India’s beauty and personal care market—projected to reach USD 34 billion by 2028—moves toward quality, performance and sustainability. According to Statista, the beauty and personal care market is expected to exceed USD 39 billion by 2030, supported by more than 226 million online beauty shoppers in 2025.
Cosmoprof India 2025 is enriched by a series of high-impact initiatives. The Buyer Program brings together approximately 200 buyers from India and international markets through the Cosmoprof India My Match platform. The Cosmoprof and Cosmopack India Awards, organized with BEAUTYSTREAMS, received 242 entries from both domestic and global brands. A major new initiative, Cosmo Academy – EmpowHER in Beauty, launched with the JPC Foundation, strengthens the show’s commitment to social responsibility by equipping youth from disadvantaged backgrounds with professional training and career pathways. Additional highlights include the Indian Start Up zone for emerging brands and the second edition of ONE SHOT by ON HAIR, powered by AVEDA and WELLA & CO.
