Madman Films drops first look teaser trailer for The Mountain, helmed by Rachel House.
The film explores the journey of three young people as they seek solace under the watchful gaze of the Taranaki mountain (aka "Taranaki Maunga") and companionship in the spirit of adventure.
The film stars Elizabeth Atkinson, Reuben Francis, Terence Daniel, Troy Kingi, Byron Coll, Fern Sutherland, and Sukena Shah.
The Mountain is a heartfelt drama about three children on a mission to find healing under the watchful eye of Taranaki Maunga, and discover friendship in the spirit of adventure.
The screenplay is written by Rachel House and Tom Furniss. Produced by Desray Armstrong and Morgan Waru. The film releases in cinemas on March 28th, 2024.
