Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan proudly inaugurated a film festival named after her, celebrating her illustrious career in Bollywood. During a lively press interaction at the event, the star opened up about both her personal and professional journeys.
When asked if her son, Taimur Ali Khan, is aware of the film festival, Kareena shared an amusing insight into her children’s understanding of fame. She noted, "Taimur and Jeh are too young to know these things. Taimur has some idea because of the paparazzi chasing us. He keeps asking, 'Why are they chasing? Am I famous?' I told him, 'No, you are not famous; I am famous. You are nobody, you haven't done anything yet.' But he responds, 'Maybe one day I will do it.' For him, it’s not about films right now; it’s all about football. I hope he’ll watch some of my films someday, but right now, he’s all about the game!"
Kareena also reflected on her personal life with husband Saif Ali Khan. The couple, who first collaborated in films like LOC Kargil (2003) and Omkara (2006), fell in love on the set of Tashan (2008). They tied the knot in 2016, and together they have two sons, Taimur and Jeh. Saif was previously married to Amrita Singh, with whom he has two children, Sara and Ibrahim.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan is enjoying the success of The Buckingham Murders. Next she will be seen in Singham Again with Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and more in Rohit Shetty directorial.
