The Avenue drops the trailer for a detective mystery thriller titled Sleeping Dogs, helmed by Adam Cooper. The film revolves around an ex-homicide detective with memory loss is forced to solve a brutal murder he can't recall.
The film stars Russell Crowe, Karen Gillan, Márton Csókás, Thomas M. Wright, Harry Greenwood, and Tommy Flanagan.
After undergoing a cutting-edge Alzheimer's treatment protocol, a former homicide detective re-examines a decade old case involving the brutal murder of a college professor – and it's as if he's investigating the case for the first time.
But as evidence uncovers secrets tied to his forgotten past, he is led to a chilling truth - sometimes, it's best to let sleeping dogs lie.
The screenplay is written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage; based on the novel "The Book of Mirrors" written by E.O. Chirovici. It's produced by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper, Mark Fasano, Deborah Glover, Arun Kumar, Pouya Shahbazian. The film is slated for March 22nd, 2024 release.
