Actor Shaan Grover is quickly rising through the ranks in the film industry, but he’s not forgetting the people who helped shape him along the way. In a recent interview, Shaan shared heartfelt tributes to some of the biggest names he's worked with, revealing the lessons he's picked up from Bollywood's behind-the-scenes powerhouses as well as its stars.
He began by praising casting director Shanoo Sharma, calling her a true visionary. “She has an eye for talented people,” Shaan said. “I’m not taking her name just because she saw something in me. She’s the one who discovered Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Ahaan Panday, and so many others. She is truly blessed.” Having trained under her, Shaan credits Sharma for setting the tone of his acting journey with insight and inspiration.
When it comes to working with Tusshar Kapoor, Shaan shared an anecdote that perfectly captured Kapoor’s down-to-earth nature. “During Dus June Ki Raat, we had hectic night shoots lasting 14 hours, but Tusshar never complained once. He even took a local train to the shoot. The man has starred in Golmaal, owns companies, and is super rich—yet he was like a buddy to me,” Shaan revealed. “He taught me humility and generosity without even trying.”
Speaking about Anupam Kher, whose directorial venture Saiyaara gave Shaan his big-screen break, the young actor couldn’t stop gushing. “He’s a legend. I learned acting from him. He’s done over 400 films, not always as the lead, but his presence is nothing short of a leading man. His work in Bollywood, Hollywood, and beyond proves that greatness doesn’t need a label,” Shaan said.
Shaan Grover's journey has been anything but conventional. From working behind the scenes on Sanam Teri Kasam to emerging as a breakout antagonist in Saiyaara, he’s carved a niche through sheer grit, mentorship, and constant learning. With his growing resume including digital hits like Nobleman, Roohaniyat, Leaked, and Dus June Ki Raat, it's clear that this rising star is just getting started—and he’s taking every lesson to heart.
