Actor and director Kangana Ranaut announced the release date of her upcoming film ‘Emergency’. The actor shared a new poster and a promo on her social media profile, the film features the actor as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, it is slated for 14th June 2024 release.

The film also features Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and the late Satish Kaushik in key roles. Kangana also shared a promo, which talks the about the times and events which took place when emergency was implicated.
Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, the film is touted as a mega-budget depiction of the most controversial spectacle in the history of Indian Democracy. The film was scheduled for a theatrical release on November 24, 2023, but it was postponed, and now it will release on 14th June 2024.
