The much-anticipated India-Vietnam collaboration, "Love in Vietnam," has officially commenced filming in Vietnam, featuring a star-studded cast including Shantanu Maheshwari, Avneet Kaur, and Vietnamese actress Kha Ngan. The first shooting schedule kicked off with a traditional mahurat pooja on September 23, 2024, at the picturesque Samten Hills, Dalat.
The ceremony was led by His Eminence Drubwang Sonam Jorfel Rinpoche, who conducted the inaugural rituals. The first shot was captured by His Excellency Sandeep Arya, the Ambassador of India to Vietnam, marking a significant moment for the production.
"Love in Vietnam" is directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi and produced by a talented team that includes Omung Kumar, Captain Rahul Bali, Sarvesh Goel, Pankaj Chauhan, and Abhishek Ankur. Co-production is handled by Zeba Sajid, Tariq Khan, and Samten Hills, Dalat, highlighting a robust collaboration between Indian and Vietnamese talents.
The film, which was announced at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, has garnered support from the Governments of India and Vietnam, as well as from Vietnam Airlines and Vietravel. It is set to be filmed in stunning locations across both Vietnam and India, promising breathtaking visuals and rich cultural experiences.
With a slated release in 2025, "Love in Vietnam" is poised to captivate audiences with its unique cross-cultural narrative and cinematic charm. As production progresses, fans are eagerly awaiting updates on this exciting collaboration that bridges the vibrant cultures of India and Vietnam.
