Following an epic teaser and the release of its first single, the makers of Jigra have unveiled a motion poster, creating a buzz among fans. The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Eternal Sunshine Productions announced that the film’s trailer will drop tomorrow, heightening anticipation for this gripping story.
The motion poster was accompanied by a captivating caption: “Time for courage to take the front seat, JIGRA THEATRICAL TRAILER OUT TOMORROW! #Jigra in cinemas 11 October.” The film is set to hit theaters on Vijayadashami, adding to the festive excitement.
Directed by Vasan Bala, who co-wrote the script with Debashish Irengbam, Jigra is produced by a stellar team including Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Soumen Mishra under the banners of Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film stars Alia Bhatt as Satya, a young woman grappling with a painful past.
The story follows Satya, who is left with only her brother (played by Vedang Raina), currently imprisoned and tortured in a foreign jail. Faced with no other options, Satya must transform into a hero, daring to break him out and bring him to safety.
With a compelling premise and a talented cast, Jigra is shaping up to be a must-watch film this October. Fans are eagerly awaiting the trailer and the film's release on October 11, 2024.
