Disney Animation Studios has unveiled the second official trailer for Zootopia 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2016 Academy Award-winning hit Zootopia. Nearly a decade in the making, the sequel promises to bring back the humor, heart, and thrilling mystery that made the first film a global favorite.
The returning voice cast includes Ginnifer Goodwin as Officer Judy Hopps and Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde, with global music icon Shakira reprising her role. Joining them are Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, Ke Huy Quan as Gary De'Snake, Fortune Feimster as Nibbles, and Quinta Brunson as Dr. Fuzzby, adding fresh dynamics and comedic flair to the ensemble.
In Zootopia 2, Judy and Nick dive into their most challenging case yet: tracking down a mysterious reptile who disrupts the balance of the mammal metropolis. Their investigation forces them to go undercover into strange and unexpected corners of the city, testing not only their detective skills but also the strength of their growing partnership.
Directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, with a screenplay by Bush, the film is scheduled for release on November 26, 2025.
