Priyanka Bajaj Sibal, a two-time Mrs. India titleholder and actress, recently opened up about her aspirations in cinema, highlighting her desire to take on more challenging roles. Reflecting on the kind of work that inspires her, Sibal said, “I like challenging roles a lot. I have done the role of a mute girl, but if you ask me about a movie, I would really like to do the role that Priyanka Chopra did in Barfi. I think that was beautiful—again, without saying a single word. Portraying that role was difficult and what she did is beautiful. So perhaps a role like that or something that inspires others. Being from pageantry, that is something I’d always like to do. Maybe a biopic or something like that.”

Sibal’s words reflect her longing to balance artistry with impact—choosing roles that not only test her abilities but also leave audiences with a stirring sense of connection and inspiration. It’s an approach rooted in her belief that cinema should echo deeper emotions and tell stories with meaning.

Talking about her family’s influence, she emphasized how their encouragement has been her strongest backbone. “I am truly blessed to have a supportive family. Be it my husband or both sets of parents, they always encouraged me, supported me, and have been my biggest cheerleaders. When I represented India internationally in the USA, my entire family was sitting in the front row and cheering for me in all the rounds. From my experience, my family didn’t try to stop me, in fact they encouraged me. They are equally excited in all my projects.”

Priyanka Bajaj Sibal’s journey is a mix of intellect and glamour. An Indian Chartered Accountant, actress, influencer, and model, she has carved a unique pathway blending brains and beauty. Crowned Mrs. India Queen of Substance in 2021 and Mrs. Queen of the World India in 2022, she went on to represent India globally, making her mark by winning the “Best Model” title at the prestigious Queen of the World pageant in the USA.

Her acting career began with Kathakaar, where she played a police inspector investigating a child trafficking case—a role that brought her multiple “Best Actress” awards at festivals such as the Chambal International and Roshani International Film Festival. Now, with Madhur Bhandarkar’s upcoming The Wives in the pipeline, Sibal’s artistic trajectory only seems to promise more compelling performances rooted in depth, resilience, and her constant pursuit of meaningful storytelling.
