About
Wanting to become doctor as a young girl, Zareen took to acting and debuted opposite Salman Khan in the 2010 action war drama Veer, playing the role of a princess. A Whistling Woods alumna, Zareen received mainly mixed reviews for her debut performance, however, she received a Zee Cine Award nomination for Best Female Debut. The following year, in 2011, she was again seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan but this time for just the song `Character Dheela` in Anees Bazmee`s romantic comedy Ready. Next, the actress was a part of the ensemble cast of Sajid Khan`s 2012 comedy Housefull 2, playing the love interest of Riteish Deshmukh`s character.
Making another special appearance, Zareen was seen in the song `Malgove` from the 2013 Tamil movie Naan Rajavaga Pogiren, post which she made her Punjabi movie debut with the movie Jatt James Bond. Cast alongside Gippy Grewal in the movie, Zareen`s performance was particularly praised with her receiving the PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Female Debut in 2014. Playing one of the leads, Zareen next starred in the erotic thriller Hate Story 3, co-starring Daisy Shah, Sharman Joshi, and Karan Singh Grover.
She then made two special appearances - the song `Khallas` from Veerappan and `Mahi Ve` from Wajah Tum Ho, both of which released in 2016. Her 2017 projects include the suspense thriller film Aksar 2, co-starring Gautam Rode, while her 2018 projects include the Karan Kundra-starrer horror film 1921, which is directed by Vikram Bhatt. His 2019 releases include Chanakya and Daaka.
