Lionsgate drops the trailer for thriller titled The Crow, a modern movie adaptation of the comic book series by James O'Barr, helmed by Rupert Sanders. The film is whole new take on the iconic role of Eric Draven aka The Crow in this modern reimagining of the original story.
The film stars Bill Skarsgard, FKA Twigs, Isabella Wei, Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila, and Jordan Bolger.
Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.
The screenplay is written by Zach Baylin and Will Schneider. Based on The Crow comic book series written by James O'Barr. Produced by Edward R. Pressman, Samuel Hadida, Victor Hadida, Molly Hassell, and John Jencks.
The film is slated for June 7th, 2024 release.
