Get ready, folks! Tamil superstar Suriya is back with Kanguva, hitting theaters on November 14. But if you were hoping for a thrilling comeback, you might want to think again. This film seems less like a cinematic masterpiece and more like a desperate attempt to revitalize a career that’s been on life support for years.

Let’s talk about Suriya. His last few films, Etharkkum Thunindhavan and NGK, flopped harder than a bad joke. It's been five long years since he managed to deliver a theatrical hit. And now, PR agencies in Mumbai are hailing him as a “superstar earner.” Really? Because it looks like the only thing he’s earned lately is a one-way ticket to box-office oblivion.

Now, let’s discuss Kanguva. The film has been in production for two years, and the hype? Non-existent. The producers are claiming it will rake in 1000 crore. Is this a movie or a game of Monopoly? The main action scenes are just 30 minutes of the film, while the rest is packed with comedy. Spoiler alert: you might want to bring a pillow for the snooze-fest that follows.

Speaking of comedy, let’s talk about the ludicrous PR efforts behind this film. Pen Films has reportedly dropped 22 crore on promotions, courtesy, the PR agency. If spending that much money could actually create real buzz, we’d have a blockbuster on our hands. Instead, it feels like throwing a lavish party for a pet goldfish. All splash, no substance!

Suriya’s recent move to Mumbai seems like a last-ditch effort to make a splash in Bollywood. But let's be real: if he can’t deliver hits in Tamil cinema, what makes anyone think he’ll suddenly become a sensation in Hindi films? This whole PR charade is like trying to sell ice to Eskimos. Spoiler: it’s not working.

As Kanguva prepares to release, the film appears to be an overhyped mess in the making. With a lack of engaging content and ridiculous promotional claims, it’s hard to see how this film will fare in a market that demands quality. Here’s hoping audiences are wise enough to skip this cinematic train wreck and spend their time on something more worthwhile—like watching paint dry.

So, mark your calendars for November 14, but maybe bring your sense of humor—it’s going to be a bumpy ride!
