Set in the eerily adorable town of Grubbers Nubbin, Stitch Head follows the unsung hero of a castle teeming with bizarre experiments — the professor’s very first creation, long since forgotten. While the mad scientist moves on to flashier monstrosities, poor Stitch Head stays behind, quietly keeping the castle (and its residents) in check. But when a shady traveling circus rolls into town, led by the theatrical Fulbert Freakfinder, Stitch Head gets a tempting taste of the outside world — and a shot at being something more than just the castle’s janitor.
Asa Butterfield (of Sex Education and Hugo fame) lends his voice to the title role, bringing just the right mix of melancholy and charm.
