Actor Akshay Oberoi, who began his cinematic journey with Isi Life Mein...! has carved a niche for himself with powerful roles across films and web series. Known for his versatile performances and grounded approach, Oberoi is now all set to be seen in the much-anticipated romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, where he shares screen space with Varun Dhawan for the first time.
Speaking about his experience working with Varun Dhawan, Akshay Oberoi had nothing but admiration for the superstar’s humility and authenticity: “Varun is such a lovely guy... he’s so easy to be around. He doesn’t carry his stardom like a burden. He’s amazing that way. When I first met him, I was like — wow! How can someone be so down to earth? I think he’s seen a lot in life — the ups and downs, his father’s career, the reality of this industry. He knows how transient all of this is — it’s all an illusion, really.”

Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced under the banners of Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Film. Alongside Varun Dhawan, the ensemble cast features Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Maniesh Paul, with Oberoi in a pivotal supporting role. The film is slated for a festive theatrical release on October 2, 2025, coinciding with Dussehra.
