Cinetic drops the first look teaser-trailer for a new Danish dramatic thriller titled Sons, the latest from Danish filmmaker Gustav Möller. The film stars Sidse Babett Knudsen, Sebastian Bull, Dar Salim, Marina Bouras, and Olaf Johannessen.
The idealistic prison guard Eva faces the dilemma of her lifetime when a young man from her past is transferred to the prison where she works.
Without revealing her secret, she asks to be moved to his block, the toughest and most violent in the prison. And so begins an unsettling psychological thriller in which Eva’s sense of justice puts her morality and her future at stake.
The script is written by Emil Nygaard Albertsen and Gustav. Produced by Lina Flint and Thomas Heinesen. The film premiered at the 2024 Berlin Film Festival in the Main Competition.
