Sara Ali Khan, who made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath alongside the late Sushant Singh Rajput, recently opened up about her deep connection to the iconic pilgrimage town. During an event in Mumbai, she expressed her gratitude to the place that she says shaped her in many ways, calling it the foundation of who she is today.
When asked about her recent trip to Kedarnath, Sara shared, “I share the most special connect with Kedarnath. The first time I went to Kedarnath, I think I didn’t even know myself. Everything that I am, has come from that place. So there is so much gratitude for that place, and every time I get a call from Kedarnath, I go running. Then I come back and get back into the grind.”
Sara’s emotional attachment to Kedarnath is not only tied to her personal journey but also to her debut film, which was set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Kedarnath temple and the Himalayas. The film marked a significant chapter in her career, and she’s often spoken about how the experience of shooting in such a serene yet challenging environment left a lasting impact on her.
For the event, Sara opted for a chic ivory-colored outfit, consisting of a skirt and top, and looked effortlessly beautiful.
On the work front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Murder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan, both of which had their releases on OTT platforms. Fans are eagerly awaiting her upcoming projects, including Metro In Dino opposite Aditya Roy Kapur and Sky Force with Akshay Kumar, both of which are slated for release soon.
