Pooja Hegde is roped against Suriya in the forthcoming Suriya 44, the makers drops the first look character poster for the diva and welcome her onboard.
The official handle of 2D Entertainment shared the poster on social media and captioned it, “A killer on screen! Expressing her excitement Pooja Hegde replied, “A special one for the books.”
Helmed by Karthik Subbaraj, this is the first time Suriya and Pooja are pairing up in a movie. The film also stars Jayaram, Karuna Karan and Joju George. Suriya 44 will see music by Santosh Narayanan and cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna.
Pooja Hegde is also busy wrapping Deva, starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. The film is helmed by Rosshan Andrrews (in his Hindi debut) and written by the duo Bobby–Sanjay (in their Hindi debut).
Produced by Roy Kapur Films and Zee Studios, Deva is scheduled to release on 11 October 2024, coinciding Dussehra.
