Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for September 5, a gripping film directed by Tim Fehlbaum. Set against the backdrop of the 1972 Munich Olympics, the film delves into the harrowing events of September 5, when an American sports broadcasting crew finds themselves at the center of a global hostage crisis involving Israeli athletes.
 
September 5 offers a fresh lens on a historical event that captured the world’s attention, focusing on the crew from ABC Sports, which was covering the Olympics live for the first time in television history. The film explores the moral dilemmas faced by the news team as they navigate the intense pressure of broadcasting a crisis seen by an estimated one billion viewers worldwide.
 
Described as a ticking clock thriller, the film emphasizes the ethical challenges of journalism during a time of crisis, portraying the crew's struggle with what to show and how to present the unfolding events without resorting to graphic violence.
