Disney drops the first look teaser trailer for a sequel – Moana 2, about the Polynesian girl with a special connection to the ocean. The original Moana musical from Disney Animation Studios opened in late 2016 and became a beloved global hit, ending up as a favourite of many young viewers everywhere.
After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana journeys to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she's ever faced.
The film feature voices of Aulii Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson, Alan Tudyk and more.
Moana 2 is written and directed by Dave Derrick. Produced by Osnat Shurer, executive produced by Jennifer Lee. Made by Disney Animation Studios - it is the first feature film to be made at the Vancouver studio.
The film is slated for November 27th, 2024 release in USA, and slated for 29thNovember 2024 release in India and UK.
