On the 17th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, actors Karanvir Sharma, Ahaan Sharma, and Isha Koppikar participated in a solemn tribute to honor the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives on November 26, 2008. The ceremony took place at the iconic Gateway of India, where the celebrities lit candles in memory of the fallen heroes.
The tribute was part of the “Never Forget” memorial and pledge gathering, organized by the National Security Guard (NSG) along with other organizations, to remember both security personnel and civilians who lost their lives during the tragic attacks. Attendees paid homage to the courage and sacrifice of countless heroes who faced immense danger to protect the city and its citizens.
The event highlighted the contributions of senior police officers like Hemant Karkare, Ashok Kamte, and Vijay Salaskar, as well as NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and ASI Tukaram Omble, whose bravery has become emblematic of resilience and valor in the face of terror.
