Superstar Akshay Kumar shares a stunning rebuttal about his last couple of releases not working at the box-office, said he is not dead, and he will keep on working.
During Khel Khel Mein promotion Akshay Kumar was asked about his last few releases being dub, to which he began his rebuttal with a memorable anecdote, “Let me tell you a story, my father told me when I was young, about a farmer who lost his cow.” The story unfolds with the farmer’s initial misfortune of losing his cow, which then returns with several more cows. Although this seemed like a stroke of luck, the farmer’s son later breaks his leg, preventing him from joining a mandatory military conscription. Ultimately, the farmer’s misfortune turns into a blessing. Kumar used this story to underscore his perspective on life’s fluctuations, stating, “Whatever happens, happens for the good.”
“I really don’t think about stuff that much, my last 4-5 releases didn’t work, and people are sending me messages that you shouldn’t worry, everything will be okay, don’t worry and stuff like that, and I am like, bro, I am not dead, I am alive. People are sending me those obituary style messages, one journalist even wrote, don’t worry, he will be back, and I was like, why are you even writing stuff like this, where did I go, I am here, and I am working, and I will keep on working”
“I will always remain here, regardless of whatever people say. I wake up, I exercise, I go to work, I come back from work, and whatever I earn, I make it with my own hard work, I never asked for a handout, and I will keep on working, till they shoot me down” added Akshay.
Last seen in Sarfira, actor Akshay Kumar will soon be seen in Khel Khel Mein, Sky Force, Singham Again, Jolly LLB 3, Welcome To The Jungle, Shankara, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat and more.
