Actor Randeep Hooda has impressed everyone with the trailer of his upcoming film 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' and everyone is looking forward to the release of the film. The actor said it is high time that the people of our country should know about his influence and contribution to the freedom of our country.
The trailer of the film 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' was launched yesterday and its gripping dialogues have caught everyone's attention. A special press conference was held in New Delhi on Tuesday where Randeep Hooda along with the producer of the film Sandeep Singh were present.
Here the actor was asked about why he chose to make a film on the life of Veer Savarkar. He answered saying, "I feel it is a big tragedy that I had to make a film on his life now. A big question is why a film was not made on his life before ?There are many films on Gandhi, Sardar Patel. I myself have played Sarabjit, Charles Sobhraj.
I feel because of some people, his sacrifice, his contribution could not come out. But it is high time for people to know about Savarkar's contribution, his influence in our country's freedom'.
'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' focuses on the life journey of Indian freedom fighter and reformer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Randeep Hooda plays the titular role in the film and he has directed the film too. While the film is being produced by Randeep Hooda, Zee Studios, Sandeep Singh, Anand Palit, and Sam Khan, it is being co-produced by Roopa Pandit, Yogesh Rahar, and Panchali Chakraborty. The film is all set to hit the cinemas on 22 March, 2024.
