The hit trio – Karan Johar, Shashank Khaitan and Varun Dhawan are collaborating once again after delivering mega hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhan and Badrinath Ki Dulhan, the new movie is titled Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
The romcom stars Varun Dhawan and Janvhi Kapoor in the lead roles, the film will be helmed by Shashank Khaitan, backed by Dharam Prodcutions.
Sharing the announcement teaser of the movie, the official handle of Dharma Productions tweeted, “Your Sunny Sanskari is on his way to get his Tulsi Kumari! Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is billed as a love story packed with entertainment and outstanding music. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. The film is slated for 18 April 2025.
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor earlier worked on Bawaal, helmed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, though the movie didn’t work at the box-office, fans are hopeful with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsai Kumari.
Meanwhile on the work front, Varun Dhawan is busy wrapping Citadel and Baby John.
Janhvi Kapoor is busy with Mr. And Mrs. Mahi, Devara Part 1 and Ulajh.
