In a heartwarming gesture of solidarity and support, celebrated actor Allu Arjun has pledged a substantial donation to aid the relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which have recently been ravaged by devastating rains. The torrential downpours have caused significant damage across the region, leading to widespread suffering and displacement.
The actor, known for his philanthropic efforts and commitment to social causes, has announced a generous contribution of ₹1 crore in total to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of both states. This significant donation is intended to provide much-needed assistance to those affected by the floods and to support the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts.
Allu Arjun took to his social media profile and wrote, “I'm saddened by the loss and suffering caused by the devastating rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Allu Arjun’s contribution comes at a crucial time, as the affected regions are grappling with the aftermath of severe flooding. The heavy rains have led to overflowing rivers, submerged roads, and extensive property damage, affecting thousands of families and disrupting daily life.
On the work front, Allu Arjun will soon be seen in Pushpa 2, helmed by Sukumar, also starring Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Shanmukh and Ajay Ghosh reprising their roles from the previous film. The film is slated for 6th December 2024 release.
