Gravitas Ventures has unveiled the official trailer for Paradox Effect, an upcoming thriller directed by Scott Weintrob. The film boasts an impressive cast, featuring Harvey Keitel, Olga Kurylenko, Oliver Trevena, Alice Astons, Meredith Mickelson, Talia Asseraf, Andrea Garofalo, Romano Reggiani, and Malich Cissé.
Paradox Effect delves into the gripping story of Karina (Olga Kurylenko), a woman striving to rebuild her life and reconnect with her estranged daughter after overcoming a troubled past marred by drug abuse. Her efforts to turn over a new leaf take a harrowing turn one night when she witnesses a violent crime. The sound of a muted gunshot and a body crashing through glass propel Karina into a dangerous encounter with the film’s antagonist, crime lord Silvio (Harvey Keitel).
Captured by Silvio and his ruthless gangsters, Karina finds herself entangled in a high-stakes game of survival alongside Covek, a deadly assassin who is also under threat from Silvio. The film promises a tension-filled narrative as Karina and Covek race against time to escape the clutches of their formidable enemies.
