Yellow Veil Pictures has just unveiled the trailer for The Other Laurens, an upcoming thriller from filmmaker Claude Schmitz. Featuring a star-studded cast including Olivier Rabourdin, Louise Leroy, Kate Moran, Marc Barbé, Tibo Vandenborre, and Edwin Gaffney, the film promises a gripping cinematic experience.
The story follows a private detective, specializing in extramarital affairs, who is drawn back into his past to investigate the suspicious death of his estranged twin brother. Tasked by his niece, the detective travels to his late brother’s opulent residence near the French-Spanish border. There, he encounters a motley crew of characters: a disillusioned American widow, a former marine helicopter pilot, a group of middle-aged Hells Angels, and some bumbling local cops searching for a missing gitan.
Written by Claude Schmitz and Kostia Testut, The Other Laurens blends elements of suspense and drama, creating an intriguing narrative set against a backdrop of diverse and eccentric personalities.
