The makers of Toaster have officially announced the release date of their upcoming dark comedy, starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles. The film is all set to premiere on Netflix on April 15, 2026, promising audiences a quirky yet chaotic story built around an unusually simple premise.
Directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary, Toaster revolves around a wedding that gets called off after gifts have already been exchanged. What follows is a chain of bizarre and humorous events when one individual becomes obsessively fixated on retrieving a toaster he had gifted. This seemingly trivial conflict spirals into a dark comedy of errors, blending satire with relatable social awkwardness.
