Actor Pranay Pachauri recently opened up about the often-overlooked sacrifices parents make, sharing his thoughts in an exclusive chat with our reporter. Reflecting on the tireless dedication of both fathers and mothers, Pranay said, “It is very tough, when your father is waking up at 6 AM, being in office at 9 AM and coming back home at 10 PM… doing this daily, and on weekends he still spends time with kids, attends to their needs, and takes little time for himself.”
He also highlighted the challenges mothers face, whether working professionals or homemakers. “This is something you understand when you’re doing exactly what parents were doing on a daily basis,” he explained. “When you look at their sacrifices, and because of those sacrifices you’re sitting here today, what could be more inspiring? It’s a lot of selfless work — not everyone can do it. Our parents have inspired us, been a source of courage when needed, and motivated us to follow our dreams.”
Pranay’s reflections come from a personal understanding of hard work and family values, something he sees mirrored in his own life and career. Known for his work in films and web series such as Shershaah, The Kerala Story, and Guilty Minds, Pranay continues to impress audiences with his versatility and grounded perspective.
He was last seen in the Amazon Prime film Andhera and the movie Metro In Dino, further expanding his footprint in both films and streaming content. Off-screen, Pranay also celebrates milestones in his personal life — he married screenwriter Sehaj Kaur Maini in December 2023.
Through his candid words, Pranay Pachauri reminds us that parental sacrifices often go unnoticed, yet they shape our lives in profound and inspiring ways.
