Sanjay Leela Bhansali, known for his grand cinematic productions, is all set to make his mark in the digital realm with the upcoming web series 'Heeramandi,' which will be streaming on Netflix. The series is set against the backdrop of the Indian independence movement in the 1940s and revolves around the lives of tawaifs living in the red-light district of Heera Mandi in Lahore.
The first song from the series, titled 'Sakal Ban,' has been released, marking the debut of Bhansali's new music label, Bhansali Music.
