In a candid interview, actress and model Gehana Vasisth has opened up about her ongoing legal issues, particularly her association with Raj Kundra, the former owner of the adult content platform Hotshots. Vasisth, who has been at the center of a highly publicized case, emphasized the need for the truth to come out. She stated that it is crucial for those who were profiting from the venture, like Raj Kundra, to step forward and resolve these matters once and for all.
During her interaction, Vasisth revealed that she had been asked about her involvement in the creation of films, the payments she received, and the nature of her meetings with Raj Kundra by the ED. She explained that when she entered the office for the first time, she noticed a significant number of cabins and that the left side of the office was labeled with "Vihaan Industries," which is named after Raj Kundra's son. On the wall, Vasisth observed pictures of Raj Kundra’s family, including his wife, Shilpa Shetty, and their children.
She continued to recount that when she visited the office again, the setup remained the same. However, what stood out was that Umash Kamat had replaced Meeta, who had previously been involved in discussions related to Hotshots content. Vasisth explained that the content on the platform already included topless scenes, and she was offered similar roles. "There was already content running on Hotshots with topless scenes, even before I joined," she revealed. "I was told they were planning to continue using the same girls. I was reluctant and unsure whether it was legal. But they assured me that since the app was based in London, it was legal there."
Further elaborating on her experience, Vasisth described how she was initially approached to work on the film 9 O'Clock, which contained explicit content, including a topless scene involving actress Nehal. But Vasisth said Nehal, just before the shoot, made it clear that she didn't want to be known for adult films and wanted to be a mainstream actress, aspiring to be like Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra.
Vasisth's association with Raj Kundra began on January 13, 2021, when she met him through Umesh Kamat for a brief meeting. "It was a decent meeting. Raj Kundra told me they were launching a new venture called Bolly Fame, and they were looking for a new face. At that time, Shilpa Shetty was already known as the face of the brand, but they were considering others like Sara Khan, Sai Tamhankar, and Shamita Shetty," Vasisth explained.
However, her life took a drastic turn when legal troubles began to mount. She was arrested and spent time in jail, facing allegations related to her work with Hotshots. "I can't say much about the jail issue since the matter is still pending in court," Vasisth said. "What I want is for this to end. We’ve been dealing with this for years. My accounts were frozen, and the court has already defrozen them. Yet, the same questions are being asked again and again, which feels unfair."
Vasisth has expressed frustration with the prolonged legal battle, revealing that several of her accounts, including mutual funds, fixed deposits, and demat accounts, have been frozen once more. "It doesn’t make sense why this is happening," she stated. "If Raj Kundra is to blame, he needs to face the consequences and resolve this issue. We were just working as employees. It doesn’t look good for us to face this over and over."
As the case continues to unfold, Gehana Vasisth is calling for Raj Kundra to take responsibility and resolve the situation. "I want this matter to end, and for everyone involved to take accountability," she concluded.
