The field for the Final Four has been set, and this year's group is full of blue bloods.
The four teams that made the Final Four in the 2022 NCAA Tournament have been among the last four standing in an NCAA Tournament a combined 61 times (60 if you count the one vacated appearance among the group). Suffice to say, the programs have plenty of experience at this stage, and each coach is making at least his fourth Final Four appearance.
UNC tops the group with 21 total Final Fours to its name. It also happens to be the only seed lower than No. 2 to make it to this stage. They were the No. 8 seed in the East region and upset Baylor and UCLA en route to this appearance.
Meanwhile, Kansas is the only No. 1 seed to make the Final Four while Duke and Villanova each made it as No. 2 seeds despite some tough tests from the likes of Texas Tech and Houston. Duke will be looking to send Mike Krzyzewski into retirement with a tournament win and are set to meet UNC in the tournament for the first time in the storied rivalry between those two programs.
Here's everything you need to know about the Final Four in 2022, including the matchups, how to watch each game and the history that each school has in the Final Four.
