The upcoming Diwali 2026 release of Ramayana: Part 1 is being positioned as a cinematic event, with its first teaser highlighting a visually stunning recreation of the legendary story. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, with music by A R Rahman and Hans Zimmer, filmed for IMAX.
While Anand celebrates the Ramayana project, he is also busy wrapping up his own high-profile film King, produced by himself along with Gauri Khan and Mamta Anand under Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
