A wave of sorrow swept through Mumbai as family and close friends gathered at the residence of late actress Shefali Jariwala to pay their last respects. Among them was her sister, Shivani Jariwala, who arrived visibly shaken, her eyes brimming with grief. The heartbreaking silence said more than words ever could. The woman once adored as the iconic “Kaanta Laga” girl was gone far too soon. Shefali was just 42.
Shefali Jariwala reportedly suffered a sudden cardiac arrest late last night. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, but was declared brought dead on arrival. Her body was later moved to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem and official procedures. The news has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and among fans who admired her grace, strength, and authenticity—both on and off the screen.
Her husband, Parag Tyagi, was seen leaving Cooper Hospital in an emotionally shattered state. Known for always standing by Shefali’s side through public and private battles, Parag’s grief was undeniable. He offered no words to the media, greeting them with folded hands—a gesture asking for space during a moment of unbearable loss. His silence, captured by the paparazzi, became a haunting reflection of how fragile and unpredictable life can be.
Hindustani Bhau, Shefali’s Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant and someone she called her "rakhi brother," was also seen arriving at Cooper Hospital earlier. Overwhelmed with emotion, he was heard saying, “Behen thi meri.” The outpouring of love and heartbreak from those closest to her is a painful testament to the kind of soul Shefali was—loved deeply, lost too soon. May she rest in eternal peace.
