The makers of Dacoit: A Love Story have finally unveiled its gripping trailer, and it promises an intense blend of love, betrayal, and high-octane action. Starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the film is all set to hit theatres next week, building excitement among fans with its emotionally charged narrative and thrilling sequences.
The trailer opens on a soft, romantic note, showing Sesh and Mrunal sharing a tender moment in an open field, dreaming about their future together. From plans of marriage to starting a family, the chemistry feels warm and genuine, with Mrunal talking about having a baby and Sesh expressing his wish for a girl child. However, this peaceful beginning quickly shatters as the story takes a dark turn, hinting at betrayal. Mrunal’s character, Juliet, appears to betray Sesh, leading to his imprisonment.
What follows is a complete transformation. Adivi Sesh’s character evolves from a charming lover into a rugged, intense man driven by revenge. Determined to reclaim his life, he plans a daring escape while being transported in a police bus, with glimpses of a gripping train sequence adding to the tension. The narrative thickens when he reunites with Mrunal’s character, where the presence of a young girl hints at a deeper emotional connection—possibly their daughter.
The stakes rise further as Mrunal’s character is seen struggling in a hospital, seemingly in urgent need of money for the child. This pushes the story into another thrilling phase, where the duo appears to collaborate on a heist. With Sesh’s cunning and Mrunal’s driving skills, the trailer teases slick action sequences, adrenaline-pumping car chases, and layered mind games. Interestingly, it also suggests that Sesh may be outsmarting her all along, setting up a gripping revenge arc.
Helmed by Shaneil Deo in his directorial debut, the film is co-written by him and Adivi Sesh. The cast also features Anurag Kashyap, marking his acting debut in Telugu cinema as a cop, along with Prakash Raj in a key role. Shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, Dacoit is set for a worldwide release on April 10, promising a cinematic experience packed with emotion, action, and unexpected twists.
