Abhishek Bachchan, who was last seen in Housefull 3, is back in action with the much-awaited Housefull 5, and the actor couldn't be more thrilled. At the grand trailer launch of the film, Abhishek spoke with heartfelt emotion about what it meant to return to a franchise that holds a special place in his career.
“Coming back to Housefull feels like a homecoming,” Abhishek shared. “All of these guys are my friends, and it felt so good to walk onto a set that’s filled with happiness, love, and collaboration. It was a sheer pleasure. I'm truly thankful for all the love and this opportunity.”
He also took a moment to acknowledge producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s incredible achievement of Nadiadwala Grandson studios completing 75 years in the industry. He said, “ First of all, congratulations to Sajid bhai on 75 years — it’s truly momentous. I don’t know many studios that have reached this milestone. Reaching 75 is a big deal — it’s a testimony to his love and dedication to the film industry.”
Abhishek also expressed deep admiration and affection for director Tarun Mansukhani, a long-time friend and collaborator.“Tarun is family. We’ve known each other since we were 16 years old. I had the pleasure of being a part of his first film Dostana. Working with him is always wonderful — it feels like a holiday for me because I know Tarun will take care of everything. I’m so happy that he’s back to directing. He’s an amazing talent, and especially in a genre like this, I don’t think anyone does it better. I say that with full humility and the utmost respect for all the filmmakers out there. I really hope he continues to tell stories like this.”
Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, brings together a record-breaking ensemble cast.
