At the trailer launch event in Mumbai, amidst the presence of co-stars Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, producer Karan Johar, and director Anand Tiwari, Vicky Kaushal humorously addressed the persistent rumors. He urged everyone to focus on enjoying the film "Bad Newz" that they were presenting.
“Abhi ke liye aap Bad newz enjoy kar lo, jo hum la rahe hain. Jab uska time aayega, we won’t be shying away from giving that news (For now, please enjoy Bad Newz. When the time is right, we won’t shy away from announcing the pregnancy news) said Vicky.
Rumours around Katrina Kaif’s pregnancy have been doing the rounds online after a video of the couple from their London trip went viral. It was rumoured that the couple is all set to welcome their first baby in the city. The speculation didn’t die down when Katrina returned to Mumbai from their trip.
Bad Newz is a comedy film that deals with a rare scientific occurrence called heteropaternal superfecundation, through which a woman can be impregnated by multiple male partners. The film will hit theatres on July 19.
