In a heartfelt gesture of empathy, the team behind Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming mythological thriller #NC24 has postponed its planned poster reveal following a tragic road accident in Chevella, Telangana, that claimed multiple lives on November 3, 2025. The film’s production house, SVCC (Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra), released an official statement expressing solidarity with the victims’ families and those injured in the devastating collision.
The official post from SVCC read: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred in Chevella, Rangareddy district. Our heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and prayers for a speedy recovery to the injured. In light of this unfortunate event, Team #NC24 has decided to postpone the reveal of Meenakshi Chaudhary's character poster to tomorrow. May strength and peace be with everyone affected by this tragedy.”
According to reports, the accident occurred when a gravel truck collided head-on with an RTC bus in the Rangareddy district, leaving at least 20 people dead, including a baby, and injuring several others. The incident has shocked Telangana and prompted an outpouring of grief across the state.
Originally scheduled for a promotional reveal on Monday, the #NC24 team chose to delay the release of actress Meenakshi Chaudhary’s character poster, citing the need for sensitivity during a time of local mourning. The move was widely appreciated by fans and social media users, who praised the production house for its respectful and compassionate stance.
Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, NC24 is described as an “excavation into mythical thrills,” marking another ambitious outing for Naga Chaitanya and SVCC. But on a day overshadowed by tragedy, the team’s decision to pause promotions served as a reminder that empathy and humanity matter above all—even in the high-energy world of film marketing.
