Saswata Chatterjee, known for his impeccable performances across various roles, is set to captivate audiences once again in Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, directed by Neeraj Pandey. Known for his versatility and engaging screen presence, Chatterjee is poised to leave a lasting impact with his role in this highly anticipated series.
Speaking about his involvement in the project, Chatterjee expressed his excitement and pride at being a part of Neeraj Pandey’s world. "Getting this character was a thrill in itself. The idea of being a part of a Neeraj Pandey production was something I truly wanted. I had always wished to be a part of one of his films, even if it was just for one scene," he shared.
He further revealed his deep admiration for the director, recalling his aspirations: "I remember telling my friend who manages my work in Mumbai that, ‘When I go to Mumbai, I want to meet him once.’ So, to be a part of this project has truly made me proud," Chatterjee said.
The series featuring Jeet Madnani, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee and Parambrata Chatterjee is directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray. Showrunner Neeraj Pandey has co-written the script along with Debatma Mandal and Samrat Chakraborty.
Khakee: The Bengal Chapter premieres on March 20 on Netflix.
