Hulu and Disney Plus have released the trailer for their upcoming series, "Becoming Karl Lagerfeld," which delves into the life of the legendary German fashion designer Karl Otto Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld, known for his iconic style and contributions to the fashion world, passed away in 2019, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire.
 
The series stars Daniel Brühl as Lagerfeld, offering a glimpse into his life in 1972, when he was a relatively unknown ready-to-wear designer. The story follows Lagerfeld as he meets and falls in love with Jacques de Bascher, played by Théodore Pellerin, a charismatic and enigmatic young man. At the same time, Lagerfeld takes on his friend and rival, Yves Saint Laurent, portrayed by Arnaud Valois, a genius of haute couture backed by the formidable businessman Pierre Bergé, played by Alex Lutz.
 
Created by Isaure Pisani-Ferry, the series promises to be a captivating exploration of Lagerfeld's early years and the relationships that shaped him.
